8Invaders is my adaptation of the classic Space Invaders, created by Tomohiro Nishikado and released in 1978 by Taito Corporation. 8Invaders is the 22nd in the 8Apps/8Games series, with focus on simple, elegant and gun games. GAME PLAY: Tap 'Start' to start a game, tilt the iPhone sideways to move the space ship right or left and tap the screen to fire a bullet upwards to hit and explode the incoming Invaders. If the Invaders reach Earth or hit your space ship 4 times then its Game Over! SCORING: Invader (+1). OBJECTIVE: Explode all the Invaders, before they land on Earth! LEVELS: There are 6 Levels, each Level adds a new row of 5 Invaders. Start with Level 1 (1 row of 5 Invaders) then use the LevelUp button to explore higher levels. When the highest level 6 is reached the game re-starts from Level 1. BUTTONS: LevelUp loads next level, GameOverReset loads a new game from the same level (Score = 0), Sound On/Off switches game sounds on or off (for more peaceful gameplay:) and Signature shows App Info & Credits. LABELS: At end if each level or game touch 'Game Over' or 'Winner' to display the 'Start' label and start a new game. Explore & Enjoy!
