Great Sound Design, Great soundtrack, great levels and fun gameplay. This is my favourite of the 3

One can't accuse Jordan Pearson of being overly original with the story here (female protagonist whose parents are kidnapped, she goes to rescue them) however I can't help but be thankful we have a competent AND exciting game to play from the App Store. We live in a world full of games where the only way to progress at any reasonable speed is to pay through the nose or simply not bother, or those that are simply rubbish. Cally's Caves 2 however offers basic but smooth, fun and intuitive gameplay that's bright, colourful and works perfectly. There is a decent variety of weapons to use, a levelling system that actually feels like it is progressing and a good amount of in game power ups available to make coin collecting worthwhile. There are in app purchases but they're not rammed down your throats and are in no way necessary to enjoy the game and there are adverts however they're by far the least intrusive I've seen in a long time. First impressions, I love this game and mildly gutted...

This is one of the most fun and addictive app games, or games in general, that I've ever played. The combat, while repetitive is really fun. The enemies are annoying to chase but satisfying to kill, and the platforming is a good challenge. The story and characters could be improved, but I highly recommend it as a platformer/shooter.

This is a down-to-earth, old-fashioned platform shooter. It's simple and succeeds. I recommend downloading it, it's not a cash grab, though you can donate to the programmer. It's a little raw and there are a couple of issues: - level gate transition is very quick and a bit jarring at first. - The spike gun shoots into the walls if you are too close, meaning that very tall walls are extremely difficult compared to most aspects of the game. - Even with both Dodge upgrades and all sword upgrades, I cannot escape being hit by the tank boss on level 82. - The bow shoots down but not enough to be useful. Tips: - Just after getting the triple jump there is a level with 4 gems on a platform above. Jump in, go back out. You can get enough for the x2 and x5 upgrades here which will set you up for the rest of the game. - Farm on level 79. There are 3 gems and half-a-dozen red slimes which will build your gold and weapon XP up instantly. The Boomerang levels up quickest here because of the s...

Really enjoyed playing through this. On my second play through now just using my pistol while I can for a challenge. One of my favourite thing about this game is the fact that it doesn't constantly annoy you asking for money to be paid to get everything, there is one place where you can choose to pay but the game doesn't keep constantly bugging you with it making it a very rare gem on the App Store. This game is superb
