"Lovely Music tells the story of a boy overwhelmed by reality and problems at home. The only thing that brightens his everyday life is music. With time, music absorbs him to such an extent that it becomes an effective tool for dealing with life's difficulties. The story is simple - so that each player can find a mirror for their own private experiences. The gameplay is based on the player's interactions during the narrative. We did not use the classic structure of levels in which the user is faced with obstacles that are increasingly difficult to overcome. We used a video game as a medium to tell a story. Lovely Music treats the player's interactions as a means of artistic expression allowing for a better experience of the characters' fate. To achieve the highest possible level of immersion, we have composed moving music that perfectly corresponds with hand-drawn graphics and stop-motion animations. The game is intended for mature audiences who want to experience stories and emotions in a personal, unique way. It is a product not only for players who are bored with the standard gameplay model, but also for non-gamers - but looking for emotional experiences in entertainment. Lovely Music should be an alternative to a movie, book or theater performance. The simple story and the lack of pressure to do difficult tasks means that everyone can reach for our game.
