You can connect it with any DAW of choice including cubase, ableton live, fl studio, logic pro x, pro tools, studio one and others with just a USB cable. You can trigger drum samples with drum pads and control any parameter using the control knobs. Most of the DAW's are able to provide midi learn feature, so you can link the control knobs easily. The keyboard has octave changer and key labels with adjustable keyboard size with one modulation slider and one pitch bend slider.
