Description
Using this app, you can learn and practice Solfège hand signs. In its basic mode, the app presents hand signs for the tones of the major scale. Using the front camera the app captures your hand and finger positions and detects the hand signs you show. The app shows the related tone syllable (do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti) and sings it to you, so you know when you get the hand sign right. When your hand sign matches the presented hand sign, the hand sign of the next note of the major scale is shown. With some practice you will be able to easily relate hand signs, tone syllables and pitch heights. There are many in-app-purchase configuration options which you can play with. Try before you buy. Move: Choose a key and show detected hand signs as note names. For C-Major: C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C. For F-Major: F, G, A, Bb, C, D, E, F. Follow: Choose from scale patterns or enter a custom melody. The app presents hand signs for each note and you follow. See: Choose front or back camera and what is displayed when hand signs are detected. Hear: Choose what sounds are generated for detected hand signs: syllables, instrument sounds, MIDI output, single or dual Shepard-like tones. Detect: Choose the number of hands (up to 8) that can be detected at the same time. So you can play with others. Film: Record and share your performance. Note: We recommend a recent device (iPhone X or up) for fluent hand sign detection.
