Description
Speed a card game also known as Spit or Slam, is very fast-paced multiplayer game and it could result in damage to the cards -- so play this on the phone and don't ruin your actual playing cards. Speed is a game for two players of the shedding family of card games, in which each player tries to get rid of all of his cards. Speed is a game associated with the game Nertz. Warning: This is not your grandma's Solitaire. Play online multiplayer live with other players or offline. Objective: To play all your cards first. How to Play: -Each player is dealt five face cards to form a hand, and each player is dealt 15 cards face down to form a draw pile. If you are playing with jokers, you use them as wild cards and give each draw pile 16 cards. A stack of five cards, placed face down on each side between the players, serves as a replacement pile. Finally, two cards are placed face down in the center between the replacement piles. -You may play a card in your hand by discarding it in the "Play Pile" if the card is 1 number/value higher or lower. (e.g. 5 can be played on a 6 or 4, a Queen can be played on a King or Jack) -A 2 may be played on an Ace and a Ace may be played on a 2. -You may have up to 5 cards in your hand at a single time. When you have less than 5 cards in your hand you may draw from your "Draw Pile" -First player to play all of his/her cards wins! Multiplayer mode's ranking system is the ELO ranking system: The Elo rating system is a method for calculating the relative skill levels of players in competitor-versus-competitor games such as chess. After you play speed, multiplayer card games like blackjack, solitaire, or poker will feel slow. Games similar to Speed are spit, slam, Nertz, Pounce, Solitaire, Double Dutch, Solitaire Showdown, Truco, and Ladrãoand.

Fun, easy to use, nice graphics, and good variety in levels of difficulty (useful for when you only play one-handed while taking a quick lunch break). It has an online & local play option, but internet service is not required to play the other options (I have not played the online game options). It is a great time-filler when you just have only a few moments to fill - but also for when you have a lot of time to fill. It is very addictive, so don’t start playing when you are heading to bed for the night and need to get some sleep! I’ve only had this app for a couple of weeks or so, but I haven’t noticed any glitches with the app in that time and I use it for a few minutes a couple of times to several times a day. I have really enjoyed this app and am glad I finally thought to search to see if it was available for my iPhone. Works just as well on my iPad, too.

My sister and I have been playing this game for well over a year and it never fails to entertain us! The decks are always different unlike other mobile card games which are so repetitive that they get boring fast. I love that I can pick my own avatar and customize my deck, as well as being able to play doubles and big hand. I really like that there are different difficulties, it’s a great way to improve your speed. The results of playing this game also show when I’m playing real speed with friends. Overall I think that this game is awesome, no complaints!

The game is fun and great to play in general. When you go to the online mode against other “players”, it doesn’t function well or it a scam. I’ve had opponents play doubles (ex. a 9 on a 9), have a ton of cards one second while I’m trying to play a card but the next second they have less or no cards and what I am trying to play is no where near what’s showing. If I try playing a 6 on a 5 at the same time my opponent plays a 4, either mine is blocked or their 4 goes on top of my 6. Why are they never blocked? They also play so fast, it’s literally impossible. It just is. If you’re one of the people who get away with doubles and play faster than lightning, I’d like to hear from you. When I lose games like this, my level goes down (grandmaster back to master).

It seems that support saw my below review as problem is fixed. Give it 5* again although faster levels are nerve wracking. I gave this a 5 previously but have to downgrade it to 3 at best. No app support- goes to a developer owned promo page. Here’s the problem. When it has an add pop up at least 50% of the time there is a broken link and I get this google page saying 404 the requested url was not found. Then I have to close out the app and reopen to play. If a developer sees this PLEASE fix or I’ll be deleting.

I love it soooooooo much!! It is simple and there are different levels, which is awesome. People can also play or the people online which is really nice, and it is fun to see how far you can get. My only suggestion is that you would change the achievements like, every day and if you get them all you get coins. But what to spend on? After you complete all of the achievements (like I have almost) I have so much money and I would love it if there were more fun things to spend it on. That it all.
