    Being a big Witcher fan from many many years I was so excited that a game like this finally came to iPhone. It’s got great potential, a basic story but fun slaying monsters and casting signs like a true Witcher. I recommend this for any Witcher fan or anyone who enjoys roaming world games. Of coarse with good there must be bad. Like some reviews have stated, at the moment it heavily based on pay to play. Unless you spend money it’s very difficult to beat most monsters or get any weapons or gear. The gold rewards are very little and while grinding must play a huge part of any game, the grind needs to be worth while. At the moment you need to spend money to get even a basic silver sword. Also, I am constantly hit with ‘waiting for server response’ messages. I appreciate that maybe there’s been a bugger than expected uptake on the game but people will stop playing if they can’t connect. I strongly recommend sorting the server issues quick so that people can enjoy the game. Finally, ...

    Game looks great and individual elements deserve praise, but target audience is pretty limired and progression is painstakingly slow. (This might be solved by paying to play, but not enough to encourage me to pay to find out.) Monster fighting is repetitive, skill progression is a mind numbing grind, added that you need luck for the right type of creatures to spawn. Spawn sites for creatures and quests are several kilometres away, and only last for a certain length of time - meaning you can’t play casually unless you have a lot of control over your time and location. So I suspect this is great for school children who can jump on a bike and head to the other side of town to find a quest. If you’re a working person like me and want to take your dog for a walk and play, forget it. Admittedly I have a puppy so giving my attention to a fight for 40 seconds is impossible.     I’m a huge fan of the Witcher series and when I discovered a Go like game but with the Witcher concept I was immediately taken to it. HOWEVER the game is very heavily based on using potions and oils to beat the BASIC of monsters with base gear that you start with as no matter how many perfect parry you get anything medium difficulty or higher with just 4/5 shot you and the base sword doesn’t deal enough damage to kill. Then comes the issue of not starting with a Silver sword which as any Witcher game comes with even if it’s a bad stat Solver sword you started out with one, then you have the issue of Money income to buy new gear when the daily is 50 and the base price is 1600. I really hope the developers take into consideration of this feedback because this game has a lot of potential it’s just not quite there yet and this is coming from a guy who LOVES hard games that make you work for the prize.
